April 17th 2010    Spring Show Report and Results

Addingham Allotments and Gardens Association held its 30th Spring Show at the Memorial Hall in Addingham on Saturday.

The Show was very well attended, with 139 entries in over 20 classes, although disappointingly, the event received no entries for any of the children's categories.

Categories this year included daffodils, tulips, primulae, cacti and floral arrangements.

The accolade of best exhibit in the show was awarded to Brenda Crooks for her traditional spring arrangement.

After judging, exhibitors were joined by other village members to enjoy the spring atmosphere in the hall, after what has been a difficult winter period for gardening.
